Job Description

As a Program Specialist, you will manage projects within the North Asia safety program in sync with the North Asia safety support lead. This role will help in leading, supporting BAUs, planning and executing, and supervising regional level and cross-regional, as well as mega-region projects.

You will collaborate closely with other teams including Legal, Ops, Comms, Policy, Reg Ops, Law Enforcement Ops and T&S to ensure SME input is appropriately provided as part of on-Jira decision making. You will be required to build positive relationships with key partners in these teams to facilitate swift incident resolution.

From design to data management and from strategy to development, you need to love to get into the bottom of problems and figure out how to break down barriers, improve our organizational capabilities and build balanced solutions. You will also be encouraged to think creatively, identify data trends, suggest improvements and help in the creation of efficient processes. You will play a key role in the strategy and execution of improvements to processes and products.

This individual will work closely with partners to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, meeting the objective it was crafted for, and ultimately deliver the promised benefits for the organization. You will be working with Service Delivery team, cross functional partners, and management and will often be required to skillfully multitask. We have a small but highly capable and motivated team that drives APAC regional and local strategy, goals and execution.

What the Candidate Will Do

Act as safety liaison officer for the North Asia market and execute final decisions on platform users’ account for critical incidents in line with our global and regional policies while working with cross functional partners.

Act as a tactical execution partner for the North Asia safety support lead to help drive BAU safety support programs and special projects.

Act as an SME to drive continuous improvement projects for our safety support programs.

What the Candidate Will Need

—- Basic Qualifications —-

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Basic project management skills and experience
  • Proven track record in planning and execution
  • Prior experience in both project and portfolio management in a scaled services organisation
  • Experience in supporting shared services / customer service site in program management perspective is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Organized and self- driven
  • Executional rigour and a strong eye for detail
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese or Mandarin (spoken or written)

Safety support tooling knowledge preferred but not crucial
