Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Marketing Manager (Jewellery) is responsible for all aspects of the Cartier Jewellery Product Marketing strategy for Hong Kong and Macau. Including:

  • Provide a long-term vision for the Jewellery category with a 360 mindset
  • Identify new business opportunities for the Maison (product, client, communication, …)
  • Support strategic product planning & launches
  • Manage a team of two, dedicated to the Jewellery Marketing category

The Senior Marketing Manager – Jewellery reports to the Marketing & Communication Directo, HKMO

RESPONSIBILITES

  • STRATEGIC PLANNING & PRODUCT STEERING
  • Contribute to the long-term Product Marketing Strategic Plan definition together with the Marketing Communication Director
  • Define Jewellery product lines budget & novelties forecasts
  • Translate main strategies to other departments to ensure alignment
  • MARKET INTELLIGENCE
  • Build on methodology and processes (market trends follow-up, regular competition visit, client insights) for a sustained competitive intelligence to identify market opportunities
  • Conduct price analysis on a regular basis and follow-up exchange rate and positioning
  • Share the knowledge with all relevant departments to realign strategy
  • PRODUCT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & LAUNCHES
  • Provide comprehensive sales analysis for product segment base on network, collections and clientele
  • Lead 360 product launches based on data, client insights, trends and competition
  • Work with Commercial teams on actionable plans to support the business goals
  • Recommend new product development to HQ based on the understanding of the local jewellery scene
  • CROSS-TEAM PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Work with internal key counterparts to ensure the success of the different projects : * Commercial department to implement business development plans

  • Boutique Managers and Sales Associates to get commercial insights and conduct training when necessary
  • Marketing & Communication team members to ensure strong alignment and a cohesive 360 Marketing, Communication & Client plan
  • Merchandising team to ensure good stock level and representation of products in the boutiques & retailers
  • Local High-Jewellery and Regional High-Jewellery team
  • HQ team to ensure overall alignment with central strategy

PROFILE

  • Education :
  • University graduate
  • GIA certification a plus
  • Experience :
  • 10-15 years of Product Marketing experience, preferably with a global luxury company
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing a team
  • Extensive Jewellery product marketing & stock management knowledge
  • Specific Competencies :
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills
  • Good communication skills: ability influence and develop business relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Strong project management with experience in planning and delivering 360 Marketing projects in highly complex environment
  • Self-starter mindset willing to embrace change and drive innovation
  • Strong Team player
