Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Provide service excellence in line with Global Operation policies to customers through understanding the PO management needs of global markets. Be a process expert, play a key role in implementing order management initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle enquiries, escalations and system updates and ensure timely resolution of PO management issues via the workflow tools and email communications, to provide excellent service on global PO management to markets, LOs, sourcing, factories and global functions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for internal supply chain efficiency improvements
  • Act as an expert and key contact to markets, sourcing, LOs & factories on resolving all issues related to PO Management
  • Through continuously understanding of PO management needs and processes, be able to educate markets/factories for the best practice and ensure our stakeholders follow GOPS processes and procedures
  • Ensure timely resolution of PO management requests in order to fulfill business objectives and communicate all necessary information to related parties
  • Meet Key Performance Indicator targets as set by Management
  • Assist the Manager to monitor the team performance, identify root cause and provide actionable solution plans
  • Assist the Manager to cooperate with project team on analysis and implementation of process improvement project
  • In close cooperation with other teams among the department to optimize business processes and ensure that expectations are met or exceeded
  • Act as coach for newcomers to the team
  • Handle ad-hoc projects and assigned initiatives as needed

  • SCM Market Purchasing
  • Sourcing Operations, LOs, and factories
  • X-functional Supply Planning
  • Global functions such as Logistics/Sourcing/SCM, GDM, GIT

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • English language proficiency is required; Mandarin is preferred
  • Good multi-tasking, negotiating, and influencing skills
  • Ability to identify and drive process improvement
  • Demonstrated business reasoning, analytical and critical thinking
  • Ability to handle escalations and correspondence independently
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and policies
  • Ability to build up strong partnering relationship with different counterparts
  • Ability to adapt for changes and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to coach and guide the team and different counterparts
  • Mature thinking, energetic, analytical, attention to details, well organized
  • Proficiency in Windows based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University graduates preferable in business, supply chain, logistics, operations, or relative discipline
  • Minimum 3 years related working experience
  • Experience in apparel or footwear industry preferred
  • Solid work experience in order management is highly preferred
