Role title: Technical Lead
Reporting to: Staff Engineer
Role location: Hong Kong
Role Purpose:
Our platform has carried us so far but we have taken it to its limits. We are currently deep in tech transformation. We are moving our platform to the Cloud, building microservices, exploring asynchronous communications models and investing more in JVM technologies.
What you’ll do:
- Fluency with Java and Springboot
- Modern software engineering practices
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- We value automated testing and practices that support it: TDD, BDD
- Team management experience is required, ideally a team not smaller than 5 engineers
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin, this is critical to be successful in our global team’s collaboration setup
- Previous experience working with multi-dev sites is a plus
