Resume tips: How long should your resume be?

In most cases, a resume should be one page only. Be brief and concise with anything you write on your resume unless you have a very good reason for it to be longer, like an extensive career or a lot of highly applicable work experience. Customize your resume for the job you are applying for and include relevant experience only. If you have done everything right, you should not get past one page.
